If you would like to hire a golf cart for the tournament, please contact Nelson Golf Club on 03-548 5029 opt 1 to arrange. Cost is $45 for 18 holes and there are only 5 available.

We will do our best to cater for those who have listed their dietary requirements in the registration form.
Due to BBQ stations and the number of people, certain dietary requirements may not be able to be catered for. Please bring snacks as a precaution.
The Findex Community Fund (NEW ZEALAND) Trust is registered with Charities Services under the Charities Act 2005 (Registration number CC55150).
Of the registration fee charged for this event 50% will go directly to the Findex Community Fund as a donation and the remaining 50% will cover event costs i.e. green fees etc. A receipt will be issued for tax purposes.
The “donation” made by participants for the separate on-course golf activities will go directly to the Findex Community Fund. An Eftpos receipt will be provided for tax purposes.
The proceeds made from the charity auction will go directly to the Findex Community Fund as stated on the Findex Community Fund Charity Golf day advertisement. An Eftpos receipt will be provided for tax purposes.
Under the Privacy Act 2020, Findex NZ Limited advises the event may be recorded for future marketing use on its and/or the Findex Community Fund websites, Findex social media sites and/or future printed marketing material. This could be in the form of photos, video and/or participant comment(s). If you do not wish to be included in the record of the event please advise the event organiser.

Further tournament details
Attendees will be able to register as individuals, pairs, or teams of four. All registrants will be able to opt in to play as a set team or be allocated into a mixed team (great for networking!).
For those who do not register as a full team of four or opt to be allocated into a networking team – attendees will be assigned mixed teams. Find out who you’re playing with when you register your attendance on the day.

NET scores will be calculated by the officials after the team cards are handed in.
A minimum of four drives per team member is required.
For scoring purposes, handicaps will be allocated to those who register without one.
Where is the event hosted?
This year’s charity golf day will be hosted at Omanu Golf Club. Get a feel for their beautiful course and experience each hole with detailed aerial images, course photography and valuable hole information here.
Can I hire a golf cart or clubs for the day?
All attendees are to bring their own clubs.
If you’d like to hire a golf cart, clubs, or a trundler, please select this option when completing your event registration. Please note there is limited availability. The hire cost will include service and processing fees and be added to your total registration fee.
What are the on-course activities?
Take part in fun challenges where you can score some great prizes. Test your skills with competitions like Hole in One, Straightest Drive, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Pro-Golfer Drive, and more. Keep an eye out for further details coming in the new year!
On-course we will have a BBQ with refreshments provided during the day, followed by nibbles at the clubhouse during the auction fundraiser. A cash bar will be available at the clubhouse.

Proceeds from the auction fundraiser and on-course activities will be directly donated to UOKBRO, Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Good Neighbour and the Findex Community Fund.
There will be cash and EFTPOS facilities available on the day. Note, no credit or payWave options are available. Merchant fees are deducted from donation if paying by card (1.84%).
Entry fees can be claimed back at 50% as this is the donation percentage going straight to UOKBRO, Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Good Neighbour and the Findex Community Fund. The remaining 50% will pay for event costs. A receipt can be provided on request.
20% of the funds raised will be donated to the Findex Community Fund CC55150 to support its ongoing giving initiatives - with the funds directly supporting essential health and wellbeing, learning and education, and community services. The remaining funds raised will be equally divided and donated to UOKBRO CC62033, Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club CC32641, and Good Neighbour CC49198.
