Together, we can make an impact.

The Findex Community Fund aims to bridge the gap of isolation and so far our charitable impact has reached $2.56 million in donations directly to 413 charities across New Zealand and Australia since it’s launch in February 2018.

Through the Findex Community Fund New Zealand Partner Charity Program, we’ve provided 421 nights of accommodation to New Zealand families staying at Ronald McDonald House; 280 students with an Outward Bound school course and 161 Kiwi kids in need with food, clothing, and health and hygiene items via KidsCan. Your donations will help the Findex Community Fund bridge the gap of isolation for communities and individuals across New Zealand.

The Findex Community Fund (FCF) is well embedded within our Findex network of people, and it is Findex’s giving culture that drives the FCF charitable donations into our regions. Through our FCF giving programs, we address the needs of the people and communities that we live in.

Through our focus areas we can reflect our deep understanding of the communities that we’re connected to and serve, with FCF donations supporting Health and Wellbeing, Learning and Education, and Community Resilience.

Since 2018, FCF has donated over $4.3 million to charities across New Zealand and Australia, supporting over 160 charities in New Zealand with donations.

Our Findex Community Fund charitable relationships are also a driving force enabling our people to connect and give back to our communities. In 2025, our people committed almost 400 hours of volunteering.

The Annual Findex Community Fund Golf Day is heading to Tauranga, marking the 5th consecutive year for the event.
This year we are focused on raising money for three outstanding charities:

UOKBRO NZ Charitable Trust, founded and led by mobile social worker Scotty Harvey, supports communities across the Bay of Plenty from the UOKBRO Mitsubishi Canter bus. With 911 people choosing to stop for a yarn since 2022, there are no referrals and no appointments — just, “If the seat is free, it’s yours.”

Funds raised via the FCF Charity Golf Day will help keep the bus on the road, cover fuel, maintenance, wellbeing resources, and contribute to a part-time wage so UOKBRO NZ can continue providing free, accessible support — mainly throughout the Western Bay of Plenty.

Good Neighbour is all about community support. We provide practical help and facilitate key connections. With our work we address poverty to positively transform neighbourhoods and communities, and build relationships. At Good Neighbour, we enable communities and their people to access what they need in their life to thrive/flourish. We always focus on giving people a hand up instead of a handout.

The numbers behind our mahi last year speaks volumes:

  • Rescued 662 tonnes of food (worth $4.8million per year) from supermarkets, food based organisations and growers, preventing nearly 2 million kg of carbon emissions. This food instead of going to landfill was distributed through over 80 charities to ensure it went to the homes in most need.
  • Cooked more than 14,000 meals for families in need.

The funds raised at the FCF Charity Golf Day will go straight into the renovation of Good Neighbour's new facility, which will empower them to support a greater number of people through their Volunteer into Employment and Youth programs.

Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club is proud to be one of the largest Surf Clubs in the Bay of Plenty and New Zealand, with a membership of over 1300 'clubbies' last season. Our club serves a diverse community, including approximately 500 children between the ages of 5 and 16, as well as 208 dedicated lifeguards - making us the largest lifeguard base in the country.

Last season alone, our lifeguards devoted more than 7000 hours to patrolling the beach. Their work included 18 rescues and assists, 39 first aid incidents, 623 preventive actions and two search operations. These efforts directly impacted over 32,000 members of the public.

The money raised through the FCF Charity Golf Day will be used to assist in the growth of our lifeguard programme, with the purchase of new lifeguard uniforms and new shade tents for our lifeguards while on duty.

The Findex Community Fund (NEW ZEALAND) Trust is registered with Charities Services under the Charities Act 2005 (Registration number CC55150).

20% of the funds raised will be donated to the Findex Community Fund CC55150 to support our giving initiatives. The remaining funds raised will be equally divided and donated to UOKBRO CC62033, Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club CC32641, and Good Neighbour CC49198
